Kiwi can

L.I:To respect the school.
This week for kiwi can LS1 group A went to play games and to
talk about respect our school.The energiser we played was called
center ball.We had a number.It was 1,2,3 and 4.Of your number was called
out we had to run around the circle once and the space you were standing
in you go throught and the ball that is in the center you have to pick up.The
rule is that you can't dive to the ball you can only run up to it and grab it.
That's the rule of the game.We had a practice round first.When our numbers
were called out we ran as fast as we can to our space and to go throught it and
to get the ball.Then we talked about respect our school.The activty we played was
called bus stop.We had a piece of paper and a pen to write with.We had to write this:

• Boy name

• Girls name

• Food

• Color

• Animal

• Total

Those were the things that we had to do.

The letter the kiwican leaders say out we have to write the letter

that the kiwi can leaders said.You had to write the letter that they

said first because they said that in the rules.

Maori

L.I:To leanrn about maori.
This week for maori I learned about maori sentences about the weather.
First we read a maori book about the wheather.It had a maori sentences
about the maori and a english to know what the maori sentence is saying.
We had to go on google slide or a google doc.I did it all and I finish it because I
listened to Mrs fire odie.Also we had to go on maori dictionary for the correct word.
I also had to make sure I'm doing the correct thing and to look on the board for
some help.Also we had to look up on google maps Wanaka and Mt everst to see
which country is it in.I did my google doc and looked on the board to see what to write.It was
in maori words.It was about the weather.I wrote them all and shown it to Mrs Fire odie.

This I did keyboarding.I learned how to 

type fast and learn how to type propley.

Of you don't know how to type fast or

Its called keyboarding.It's not just a game its

a learnring game.Of you don't know how to 

type here is a game to learn about it.

Prototect

L.I:To learn maths activity.

This week for the math activity's I choose

basic facts/prototect.I learned my division,

addition, subtraction and time tables.

This is a maths game that is all the basic

facts but for younger kids not for high 

school.

Bundles of Ten

L.I:To mke bundles of ten.
This week for maths I did bundles of ten.We had to make a bundle of ten with
maths materials.There were lot's of materials to use.
Maths is important and interesting to me.We had to do lot's of it.
Mr Wong shown a example of the maths materials.We had to get into a group.
We had to do it as group because when we had our materials there were lot's of people so we had to go in a group and when we had our materials all the materials were gone and of you weren't in a group you might not have a turn with it.Maths is very fun to do.

Line Tag!!

L.I:To make a recount.

This week for writing we had to make a 

recount about Line Tag.It is a game that

we played outside and when we came 

back inside we made a recount about.

The first one we did was the old one but on thursday we had

to go back on our google doc nd make a 

new recount we had to do it because we had to see of the

new recount about line tag is more better than the old recount about

line tag.I did a new recount about it and I'm finish.

MAIN/World War One

L.I:The cause of WW1.

This week for inquiry I learned about WW1.

The slide I went on was called MAIN.We had a google

draw on to copy and paste  words into the four boxes.

The four boxes had a name.It was called MAIN.MAIN for

WW1.We had to go on the google draw to copy and paste the correct one into the correct box.

We had to watch two video's about war and the word MAIN mean because learning about WW1 is very important and interesting.Of you want to know the word MAIN here is the meaning.

• M- Militarism
• A-Alliance
• I-Imperialism
• N-Nationalism

Here are the meanings of MAIN.The google draw was very hard because me and my partner only got 2 in only one box.But when we got back on the mat everybody had the answers even us because  when we finish the google draw with MR Ogilvie and put all the words in the four boxes correctly we knew that we got the answers correct.

Conflict and resoulation

L.I:To analyse a story for it's conflict and resoulation
This week for reading I learned about conflict resoulation and 
the story was about painted hoe.Painted hoe is important because 
it's high valued and they use it for important things.
Europeons arived there before maori so that means 
Europeans came first.After when maori came europeons 
told them a command thwy said to make land and we do 
nothing so they did it.We had to go on this google drawing about
conflict resoulation.We had to read the story about it and get the imformation about it.You have to get the characters to make sure to know who th characters are and know the conflict,the action and the resoulation.I did all that.Reading is good because you get know knowledge of reading books.

Maori

L.I:To learn about maori.

This week for maori I learned about maori.

For maori I learn about this book called remeber this november.

We learned about this book I remebered this book when I first read

when got it from the laibray I think I don't know.But the book was

important and interesting.Then we learned about this place called

Parihaka.It was under New Plymouth.We had to make a dot so we

know where Parihaka is.Next week we are going to do a another one

for maori.Learning maori is good because it's easier and so you can know

knowledge about maori.The story about remeber that november is a book 

about guy fawkes day it was on november the 5th.It was an old english event.That book is very important and interesting.

Boxing

L.I:To learn the basics of boxing.
This week for kiwisport I did boxing for kiwisport.When we got there our instructer told us the three commandments.It was called Respect,Decipline and saftey.We learned about all three of them so we can learn the commandments of boxing.Then we put whites on to  make our sweat stay in the whites.Then I put the gloves on then when everybody was finish we were ready for some skills.We were in partners aswell.The skills that did was the position and the punches.The position that we did was called rock because when somebody is trying to push someone there going to be like a rock stand still never move.We had get into two lines one and two.Me and partner did the rock.Number two tried to push there partner over.It was fun.We did the punches.We did jab and cross.I punched my panter first.But we had to punch your partner on the gloves.Everybody did it.Boxing was really fun.

Smart Media

L.I:To dentify gimmicks used to attract kids and persuade people to purcahse it.
This week for cybersmart I did smart media about CoCo Crunch.
Last week I design a gimmick about CoCo crunch for smart media.
I  had to answer the question that were on the slide so I can know
about it.The meaning of the word gimmick is trick.Here is a example of
a trick.For fast food places some of the the food fast places use a trick called
ads so when they click on the ad and they might go over to that food place and
eat over there.We had to answer questions that were on the slide.We had 3 slides
to do.It was about CoCo crunch the media product.The questions were:

• Who created the media product.

• What is it's purpose.

• What are some gimmicks they use to attract kids to purcahse and to eat it.

Those were the questions that I answered.

 L.I:To learn about WW1.

This week for inquiry we learned about  WW1.

We had to do the vocabulary and the defenitions

of the WW1 vocabulary.
Then after that we learn about the years of wars

so me and my partner went on this timeline 

website to find the correct date.Also WW1 is about

having war and to fought until who ever wins the 

war.The maori had war for NZ.

Text Types

L.I:To recap on structure and laungauge features of written text.
This week for Writing I learned text types.We had to decide which
writing is a procdure,recount or a explanation.We had partners
and we could help eachother but not copy.So we went on this
other slide called text types and but there were words with boxes
and we had to figure out which word box goes to.We had to not copy
our teachers one because that's not learning anything.Learning is about
learning new knowledge and of you copy your not smart.

Bundling

L.I:To count bundle objects for counting.

This week for Maths I learned about bundling.

I grabbed all the ice block sticks to help me

and my friends finish.We did it all together 

so we can do it fast and so we don't need to

ask for more sticks or to grab more.

It was 12-81.I like bundling because it's

really easy for me because you can count propley and you can find the answer out easy.

Of you just make a pile of sticks you can't count propley.

Maths is really important to me.

We had to go on this slide and your bundlings by doing pictures.

General knowledge

L.I:To learn about the world around us.
This week I did a activity called general knowledge.
The learning for that is for that you can learn knowledge
around the world.I learn new countries so I can know
knowledge about the country and about in the country.

CoCo Crunch

L.I:To dentify gimmicks used to attract and persuade people to purchase it.

This week for cybersmart we had to make a trick website game called

CoCo Crunch.It is a fake cereal.It says that it attract kids or adults

to purchase there cereal and to eat there cereal.

We had to screenshot it after we finished our creation.

Then you go on google draw put the screenshot in the middle

of the page and we have to put the text boxes somewhere

and we have to get an arrow and put it somewhere in the screenshot you

did.

Maori

L.I:To learn about Maori.
This week for maori we learned about a book called in the beggining.Then it showed sand art about the oringal in the beggining.When the man did the sand art there were some parts in the book in the beggining.It was really interesting to me because the man knew about it and actually knew how to
do sand art that was amazing.After that we learned about some maori history.I never knew about
this.I didn't know that somebody named Kope.He was the first person to discover New Zealand.
 I think when New Zealand has been discover I think the maori people when there because maori
was a maori country.Also there was a song that when maori soilders went to war or when they came back after war has been finished they sang that song that we sang for maori.

Kiwi Can

L.I:To respect another people and to respect little kids.

This week for kiwi can we played 2 games and talked about

respect and talked about respecting our school.The first game we

played was called Rules and no Rules.We played tag with no

rules after we tag each person everytime we stoped and we

played tagged with rules but we got a object in,it was a noodle

and the first was just normal we could run around and the 2

people have to tag us with the noodle.The 2nd time we played

we had to go in slow motion with different taggers.The 3rd round

we did was that it was like the 1st round normal round but it was

our kiwi can leaders tagging us now before it was the LS1 people

tagging us.The kiwi can leaders got us because they have long arms.

It doesn't mater because it's all about having fun and to never give up.

Then we talked about respect and respect our school.We also talked 

about the school rules.The next game we played was called roleplay.

The leader had to stand up and choose a roleplay.It was to be 

disrespectful and respectful.Our group had to disrespectful.

Me,Rj and Xavier were eating and then Juel and Hosea the new

students.We did actions for it and people were laughing.

Conflict and Resoulation

L.I:To leanrn about conflict and resoulation.
This week for reading I learned about conflict and resoulation.Conflict is when you fight/disagrement and a agurment between 2 people or a group of people.I had to read a book called Sparks.
There was boy called Dillion and boy called Harley.Harley wanted to have a turn but Dillion said no.
Dillion wouldn't share his scooter because he doesn't like to share with anybody because he had it first or because it is his and he is the owner.We go on ths google drawing called conflict and resoulation.
It was about who are the main characters,the conflict and what is the resoulation.We had to read a book and read the hole thing to understand the conflict and resoulation.
