LI: To make a DLO about being cybersmart.

This week for cybersmart we made a tutorial to show how to bookmark websites. There are two ways to bookmark, one way is to click the star on the search bar. Then click done so you can show up on your bookmark bar. The second way is pressing ctrl + d, then do the same thing.

This activity was enjoyable because we got to teach others about how to make a new tab.

Cybersmart

 L.I: Be cybersmart and use our devices to learn, create and share.

Activity 1 was called Kawa of care. We worked on and completed 3 Google draws. The first two had missing words in the sentences and we had to put the correct word into the right place. The last google drawing we just had to take a photo and insert it into the middle of the page.

Activity 2 was called know your keyboard. On the Google slide if it said where is the refresh your page, we showed it on the keyboard. Lastly we had to write down the different shortcuts. The activity that I found interesting was activity 1 because it was fun and informative.

Malo lei lei, my name is Spelman and I am 11. I am Samoan and Tongan. I have two sisters. I enjoy going out to places with my family and also like the music my parents play in the car. My favourite subject at school is reading. My favourite sport that I enjoy is Rugby. I love eating Carl Jr’s but, I mostly like eating my mom’s cooking. One of my hobbies is to play on the playstation with my friends but, out of all my hobbies my favourite is bike riding with my dad. My goal is to complete my hard work this year and take risks. 

Make a Strong Password

L.I:To make a safe and strong password.
We made a safe and strong password.There are three things about how to make a strong password.If you make a strong password no one could get into your accounts.If you don't make a strong password a person can go through your things.One is uppercase and lowercase letters.Next is to have numbers.Lastly is to have symbols in your passwords.

Always have a strong password.

Screencastify-Cybersmart

L.I:To learn how to find a legal image.
We had to make a DLO which means digital learning object.We had to
use a DLO to teacht the audience what a legal is and how to find a legal
image.We could use voice rocorder, screencastify or a presentation.There
is more you can use.

Mr pair and I did a screencastify so we had talk and show how
to do it.

Smart & Legal

L.I:To understand legal use of images.
Legal is that you have rights to use it.For illegal you don't have the rights
to take picture and put it on your piece of work.

To find a free image site there is Pixabay, StockVault and other
sites.To find illegal sites you can go on shutterstock.To find others
use keywords to find some.

To find out and see if it is illegal go on the license to see if
it is a legal or not.

Print Design Rules

L.I:To apply the Print Design Rules.
First we had to rememeber the four things about the print design rules.
Next we had to make a DLO about the print design.the four subjects we
could use for it was screw,incline plane,wedge,pulley,lever and wheel
& axle.The subject I picked on was pulley because there was more information
on it.But here's the instructions.

So those were the insturctions.When we have done that we make it pretty.

Print Design Rules

L.I:To apply the print design rules.
We did print design rules again.But we had to fix the poster.
There are one slide for:

• Layout
• Composition
• Text
• Color

so that means there were four slides.First we had to do color and text for 10 

minutes.We had to make sure the images or text or color were correct before

it will just be a terrible.When we have finshed doing the text and color we

next have to do Layout and composition.We also to make we did it all correct.

We also did this 10 min.The last one was a little bit easy.It was a little bit

easy because we had to figure out where the pictures and text are going to

go.Also we had to make sure pictures weren't stretch.

L.I:To Indentify the four areas of Print Design Rules.
We learned about print design rules.First we had to find out the words.Next we went onto this slide called print design rules.We practice one slide so we can know how to do it.To do it you have to look at the slide and think which print design rule is it.Is it compoisiton ,layout or even colours who knows.We have to make sure it was correct.

We are also going to this next year maybe.

Smart Searching

L.I:To use keywords for better searching.
For cybersmart we did smart searching.We had to think of a topic.
Our topic is called Netball.The three question about netball is:

• How many positions are there in netball?
• Which netball team has the most win percentage?
• What do the positions do in netball?

We had to put those questions into the question box.Next find the keywords.

Use the keywords to find a site about your question.After that you duplicate three slides and put each a question in it.We use our sites to find our information.

Collabrorating Meme

L.I:to collabrorate a task.
Collarborating is joining a group to complete work.

For cybersmart we had to make a meme about collaborating.
We paired up to do a meme.When we are making our meme it has
to look like your collborating.To colloborate you have to encourage each
and share ideas.

L.I:To use appropiate rigerster for communication online.
Informal means using casaul language and formal means speaking propley.
We had to write informal sentences and formal sentences.
There was three sections.One was a normal sentence.The 2nd one was about
writing an informal sentence and the last section was writing an formal sentence

Safe Password

L.I:How to make a safe password.
This week for cybersmart we had to learn how to make
a safe password.We watched a video about how to make safe password.
Of you don't make a safe password that means crimnals can hack into it or
can go in your bank and can steal all your money and wouldn't have money.

To make a safe password you have to write a sentence.When you have done
wrting your sentence you have to do grab the first letters from those words
and put altogether to make one word.Also you have to put on symbols,capital letters,
lower case letters and numbers.Of you do that crimnals can't figure out your password and
get into your personal stuff.

Also make sure you put it somewhere safe so nobody can find and go into your
personal stuff.Also when your on a computer at a liabray make sure you sign
out of that computer.

Smart Media

L.I:To dentify gimmicks used to attract kids and persuade people to purcahse it.
This week for cybersmart I did smart media about CoCo Crunch.
Last week I design a gimmick about CoCo crunch for smart media.
I  had to answer the question that were on the slide so I can know
about it.The meaning of the word gimmick is trick.Here is a example of
a trick.For fast food places some of the the food fast places use a trick called
ads so when they click on the ad and they might go over to that food place and
eat over there.We had to answer questions that were on the slide.We had 3 slides
to do.It was about CoCo crunch the media product.The questions were:

• Who created the media product.

• What is it's purpose.

• What are some gimmicks they use to attract kids to purcahse and to eat it.

Those were the questions that I answered.

CoCo Crunch

L.I:To dentify gimmicks used to attract and persuade people to purchase it.

This week for cybersmart we had to make a trick website game called

CoCo Crunch.It is a fake cereal.It says that it attract kids or adults

to purchase there cereal and to eat there cereal.

We had to screenshot it after we finished our creation.

Then you go on google draw put the screenshot in the middle

of the page and we have to put the text boxes somewhere

and we have to get an arrow and put it somewhere in the screenshot you

did.

L.I:To write a constructive comment.
This week for cybersmart I learned about constructive blog post comment.We had to write a positive blog post comment and make sure it is a interesting or amazing blog post.

Media

L.I:To learn about what is Media.
This week for Cybrsmart we been learning about Media.Media are like Mobile items News paper magizines and like websites that tell about the world and that tell you about something.We had to go on google drive or on the Cybersmart page and click on the link or find it in your google drive and click to go onto Media google slide.We had 20 words describing the photo of yourself or with somebody.After that we had to copy our writing from the school  image slide and the family or friends slide.After that we had to blog about it.

L.I:To understand that media is made for a purpose.
This week for Cybersmart we did media.We had to get our chorme books go on cucbersmart get a friend and family image and get a school image.After that we had to listed ten words into our google slide.It only one word.After we listed it we had to go on word cloud and paste it in.Sreenshot them put it on to your blog and your finish.

L.I:To leanrn about what is media?
Today LS1 did cybersmart.For Cybersmart we did media.We had to learn about what is media.We had to get into 2-3 groups to do it.We had to write about what is media.We looked at a video to see what is media.The video was about what kind of stuff can be media.The 2nd video was about what kind of items can be media like mobile items.News paper is media news paper tell  us about the news.Did you guys know about media and meduim.When its meduim its single but when its media it lots.That is what media is and medium.
