Gymnastics

L.I:To learn how to do gymnastics.
For gymnastics there were three circuits we have to go in.
First we played a game called stuck in the middle.When you
get tag you have to the front support.To get back into the game
you have to crawl under there stomach.

The first circut is about strength.The 2nd circut is about
balance.The last circuit is about balance and strength.
It went to the first circut.It was a little easy.The 2nd circut was
easy.The last circut was a little easy.

Orentation and Dialouge/Not finshed

L.I:To write an narrative in the form a play.

This week for writing we wrote a narrtive but it is formed as
a play.First we had to finsh are storyboard.The storyboard is
about the play.Our play is about someone building a treehouse
and bee's just come chasing her from out of nowhere.Then the bees
comes save the day.

When we have finshed with that we write our orentation.After that
we have to write our dialouge.We have to get into a partner that is
in our group.We also pick a person in a story.

Inter School/Ki o Rahi

L.I:To play Ki o Rahi and to have fun.

1st Round

The first game we played against Tamaki Primary.Tamaki primary was Kioma
and we were taniwha.Next is halftime.The game is finished and We lost by one point.
The score was 6:5 to Tamaki Primary

2nd Round

The second game we played was against Stan Hope.We started as Kioma.We won and the score was 7:3 to us.

3rd Round

The third game we played against Paua school.We played as taniwha first.The game
ws over and we lost.They were really good and it was fun.We were supposed to play against
Panmure district but they weren't there.

4th Round

The fourth game we played against Stonefield.We won and it was a hard game.We 

aslo played as Taniwha first and we scored points first.It was a tough game.We never

gave up.

5th Round/Last Round

For the last round we played against St Patricks.We played as Kioma first.We 

beat St patricks and the score was 6:3 to us.St Patrick played good and we never

gave up.

We won 3 games and we lost two games.It didn't matter who ever lost or won,

it just about having alot of fun.

African Drumming

L.I:To learn Africa drumming.

Johnny from Rythem Interactive taught us four rhythems on
the djembe.Johnny taught us by singing and clapping the rhythem
for us to copy.One of the call and return tunes was " I like chocolate
cake." , "So do I."

Johnny teaches a message to children.That message is that
"together,we can make a change.

Today I enjoyed it really much and that lesson taught
how to drum.Drumming is really fun to play and we can
help other people to learn how to drum.There are lot's of different
drums.

Johnny also is going to perform something about saving the jungle.

Hiwi the Kiwi fishing for the future

L.I:To be responsible in the sea and when fishing.

When you have caught a fish you have to measure the size of the fish.When your
going fishing on a boat always wear life jackets to be safe.Make sure
you pick up plastic on the floor.Hundreds of sea birds die because from eating
plastic.Use salt ice with the fish because the fish is from the salt water sea.
Pick up a fish with a wet towels.

We have been listening to The Minstel and been also singing songs.
We also do some challenges and answering some questions.

Writing/How does a bike work

L.I:To write an Explanation For writing we had to write an explanation.
First we had to think of a topic.When we have our topic that means
 we can plan.When we have done our explanation plan we write the explanation.

My topic is about how does a bike work.At the end when we do
our summary make sure it links with the photo.

We learnt it by writing an explanation.
We used chromebooks,explanation,plans and ideas.

Army Ants/Play Table

L.I:To build vocab.
L.I:To skim and scan.
L.I:To make connection.

For reading we had to read a book.My book was about March Ants.
Firstly we had to do our prior knowledge.Next we had to do a question.
Then we do our key questions.One of the boxes is for when you have read and
when you havn't read.After that we just find facts and put it on there.There is a ant
called army ants and think they are danegrous.

Kiwisport

L.I:To learn how to do Gymnastics.

Firstly we played a game called Infinite tag.So how to play
is that everyone is in and of you tag a person they have to sit down.
When you have taged a person and somebody else tagged you the person
sits down and the other person stands.

Next we had to do gym.We went to our zones to do some gym.
Some parts of gymnastics have changed.Gymnastics is really fun and
it can make us flixeble and a gymnastics person.

Paper and plastic Fraction

L.I:To relate fraction with divison.
L.I:To identify and count fractions.

For maths we learned about doing fractions with paper.
That was our task.There was different colors we had to fold.But firstly
we had to do the meaning of some maths words.When we fold the paper it has
to be equal.We also did fractions with some beans.

We also had to take pictures of the paper.By the way fractions and unit fraction
is different.Unit is one.Fractions are how much pieces that been cut up equally.

Maori Blog

L.I:To learn maori.
Raapa te rima o Pipiri.
English=Wednesday 5th June.

Today we began to learn about Matarik,by reading a book
called Night Sky.Matariki is the Maori New Year.The stars
disappear at the beginning of April and reappear in the sky
through June.This marks the time to start planting so that the
harvest is ready for spring.
