Poetry
Poetry is a text for communitcaing idea and expressing feelings to people.

What can Poetry can include
Poetry can include sound patterns.They are two othem and they are called
rhyme and rhythem.

What is Rhyming & What kind of Rhymes are there
Rhyming is repeating sound s in words.
There are four kind of rhyme.The four kinds of rhymes are: consonance,
end rhyme,alliteration and assonance.

What the four kind of rhymes mean

• Consonance is repeating consonants.
• End Rhyme are words at the end in a line that are repeated.
• Alliteration is the sound at the begining.
• Assonance is a repeated vowel.

We learnt rhyming by highlighting the repeated sounds.The tools we used was a 

highlighter and a list of poems.

Ki-o Rahi

L.I:To practice the full game of Ki-o Rahi.
Kiwisport we practiced the full game of Ki-o Rahi.

Taniwha Role
 This team is Taniwha.How Taniwha scores points is that they have to throw the Ki at the Tupu.When Kioma has the Ki the way Taniwha get's the ball back they have to rip the two tags of that person.

Kioma Role
This team is Kioma.How Kiom score points is that they have the Ki and they have to touch how many Pou they want then they can run into Powhrua to score a point.

For this week we just played and Practiced the full game of Ki-o Rahi.

My book is about marvels.It"s about the Avengers saving people
and destroying evil enemies.

Reading books is good because you were learn new imformation.

Music

L.I:To play some music.
This week for music we learned how to play music
with instruments.This can help you to instruments proper.
We learned how to play the xylophone & ukalele.
It is fun to do music and good learning how to do music and play instruments.

Imaginative Recount

L.I:To write an imaginative Recount.
In writing we were learning about writing a imaginative recount.We had to write an imaginative recount about Little Red Ridding Hood.A structure of a recount is TREE.We had to make a plan.We had plan what are we going to write.

The structure of a recount is:

• Title
• Reveal
• Events
• Ending

When you are writing a recount you use the five W's.We also had to improve the sentence to make it better.We had to make a recount not a story.The story of  Little Red Ridding Hood is a narrative.

For reading we learnt about soilders.We were also learning about stuff that was in WW1.There was WW1 equiltment.We had to pick one.When we picked it is about a soilder in WW1.We had to answer the 5 W's by getting imformation about your soilder.My person was William Henry Lynch's.The equiltment we used was Canva.We had to put our imformaton about our soilder into Canva. There were sites about that soilder.Also we made an Infographic.

Kiwican

Today in Kiwican we were learning about Friendship.We learnt
that there are times we can say No!

We talked about situations when it's okay to say No?We disgussed different ways to say no that dont cause disrespect.We did a activity about called empathy roleplay.A group  acted out a situation and as a class we needed to decide which No make sense with the acting.The options

• No Thanks
• Lets do something else instead
• It just not my thing.
• That's not nice to do
