LI:To learn our basic facts and take the challenges.

Basic facts boxes helps us with our maths.There was challenges and we had

to pick a challenge.I did speed demon up to five and next time I will do speed demon

up to 10 and 20.We had to do a timer and my time was 2:59.

SSR Selfie | Diary Of A Rugby Champ

LI:To summarise and retell text.
I did SSR Selfie and I read about the Diary Of A Rugby Champ.We had
to read a book and for 15 minutes.When you have read 15 minutes you
have to answer questions.Its questions aboult the book.

Sir David Attenborough | Reading | Fact Find | (Idioms)

L.I: To learn something new.
 Today we did fact find.Fact find is where you find facts about something like a person
or a machine.

My group did Sir David Attenborough. We had different jobs and my job was media. We had to find facts and also his category is within famous people. A fact about Sir David Attenborough. Sir David Attenborough’s net worth is 35 million dollars. The animal he hates the most is a rat.

Our topic was interesting and I very like this person. I would want to research on a
another person and learn new things about them.

After that we did idioms. We had to search on a website for idioms. We could look for any
idiom.But first here is the meaning of a idiom. An idiom is a phrase that means something different
from what the word usally means. I word we found was in hot water. We had to do a video and act.

Descriptive Writing

LI:To describe using interesting language features.
The "Descriptive Writing " activity is used for practising using descriptive language.
The comments function is used to describe any of the gathered photos.

There is a list of language features to help create descriptions.

The objective of the Descriptive Writing activity is to improve descriptive
language abilities.

Independant Activities

LI: To practise independant activities.
 Our groups started our rotation.

The activities we attempted were Basic Facts Boxes, Drills, Abacus, and finding a group logo.
We had to make a video of ourselves counting on the abacus. I attempted the speed demon up to
5 challenge.

Next time I'll do the 10 and 20 speed demon challenge. I found the basic facts boxes
interesting and I want to have a faster time when I do basic facts boxes.

Kiwican

LI: Just give it a go.
Our new topic is give it a go.

Firstly we played a energiser for our new topic give it a go. The name of the game was The game was about listening and who has fast reflexexs to grab the cone. There was a magic word and they have to put into a sentences. If you grab the before your partner or the other two you are the winner and the losers have to go sit down on the steps. The winner of the game was me. After playing that game we had to share out ideas that goes with giving it a go.

After talking about that we played an activity.The activity was called acting.The Kiwican leader told us a act and we had to do it.

Print Design Rules

LI:To identify the four areas of Print design.

This week we learnt about print design rules.There are four rules and itcan help you with your DLO.It can catch people attention and people can read it propley.There was a document we had to see what was good and bad about it.We had to make two rules for each one but heres some rules.

For Composition you need to have a balance of pictures and sentences. For Layout you need to put images and text in a good place.For Colour make sure you don't use clashing colors and use colors that goes well.Lastly Text make sure you keep consisent fonts and sizes.
