I wrote a comment on Lukah blog post.It was about the Duffy Show.

SSR Selfie

L.I:To summarise and retell text.
I read a book called Rugby 2011.It tells me about teams,
World cup history and history about rugby.Rugby is my favourite
sport and I want to be in Super rugby,play for the Auckland Blues.

It also tells me about statistics and what happened in the future.

Persuasion/How to persuade

L.I:To create a persuasive speech.
First session of writing.

For writing we are learning persuasion.First we watched
video about how to disagree while in a agurment.There are
steps in the video to help us learn how to disagree.I went
into group sport.In your group get into partners.Then we have
to thin about what we are going to argur about.


After that we had to write about how to persuade when arguing.
We had to use the video to help us learn how to persuade.When arguing
convice that your convice.Showing an example we have to use 9 or 81.

Fact or Opinion/Main idea Summary

L.I:To identify main idea's in text.
We read a story called possums problems.In New Zealand there
are lot's of possums.It's causing damge to people's propety and forest.
There are thirty million possums around New Zealand.When doing it we
have to make sure of it's a fact or opinoin.

Also there were two sites about possums but it's about
Australian possums.We had write another fact opinon but
it was for the Australian possum site.We also had to do something
called main idea summary.We had to do three of them.One for the possums
problem,one from one of the sites and the other site.

WIP/Basic Facts up to 20/Quiz

WIP- Link To Quiz

First lesson of maths we are learning all about money.There are
some task to pick.In our groups we had to pick who is doing what.
Xavier and I are doing basic facts upto 20.We did a quiz.We wanted
to see of anyone can pass our quiz.In the quiz there are 16 questions.Make
sure you read it propley.

You could also make games.When you check it off and the teacher
says it's good you get more money.(Not Real Money)In my bank
I only have 66 dollars and I need to get more money to buy important
stuff.

Swimming and Water safety

L.I:To learn water safety skills.

Our first lesson for water safety was used to get into
groups and show the instructors our swimming ability.
I was put into Elisabeth's group.In Elisabeths group
we practiced streamline,freestyle and backstroke.

To do backstroke we just swim on our backs.Freestyle make
your hands look like your going to scoop something and then
just swim.Lastly stream line is hands together,squezze your head
with your arms and then just swim.

Duffy theatre

L.I:To watch a Duffy show.

We went to watched a duffy performance.It was really fun
watching this interesting,amazing performance.By the way
Duffy is 25 Yrs now and Duffy is all about reading books.

Characters-Duffy,Sam,Mom,Puzzler,Dismantler

Sam is Duffy cousin.Sam is the mom.The Puzzler mixes
up words and the dismantler breaks materials like bricks,
wood Ect.Duffy is Sam cousin.The show was about Duffy got
trapped in this game called magic bricks and then they had to
try to get duffy out.Duffy put there nana glasses and then he started dancing
so that's how he got stuck in the game.Sam did the same thing but she a book
from nana and it was about magic bricks.They searched the book to check of there
was a way out.After the mom put on the glasses but she didn't go inside of the game.
It wasn't the glasses but it was the dance they did.It says when you do the dance you come in and out
of the game.Also they did some puzzles and the dismantler and the puzzler came in.

It was fun watching them perform and also they started this year.
Lastly we took a picture.
