RWC/World Time

L.I:To learn about the world time.
L.I-To learn about the time in different countries.
For this task we had to find the time in different countries when it was 6pm in Japan. An example we had to find time for Canada. The time in USA CA: 2am and NY: 5am. This helps by learning different time in other countries.
I learned from this task that there are different times for the west side and the north side of some countries. Why there are different time in the west or the north because those countries  are  bigger.

RWC/Rugby Profiles & Performance

L.I To learn about rugby players profile.
We had to write one of the all black rugby stars profile. We picked  Kieran Read. We wrote new information and new understanding that you might not know about  Kieran Read for example Kieran Read's height is 1.93 metres. This activity helped me learn new things and new facts about Kieran read. We found out his date of birth, height, weight position and country he was born in.

RWC/Inquiry/Places To Visit in Japan

L.I To find 5 different places to visit.
First we had to pick 5 different places in Japan the 5 different places were  Mt Fuji,Tokyo,Nara and Osaka. We had to write facts and why we want to vist that place as example if I got 1000$ and I want to go to Mt Fuji I can explain why I want to visit Mt Fuji and give some Interspersing facts that will hook my mum  to make go to Mt Fuji.

Rube Goldberg Machines

Rube Goldberg

LI: to apply knowledge of simple machine to create a Rube Goldberg Machine.
We had to make a Rube Goldberg Machine that includes all of the six simple machines. We had to choose one of three things that the Rube Goldberg machine has to accomplish, the things that we had to choose from we're rolling dice out a cup, putting a ball into a and to turn a chrome book on.The thing that we chose was to roll the dice out a cup.

Our first plan was having an incline plain and a marble hit dominoes, but that plan didn't work because the dominoes kept falling back so we made another plan. Our final plan was books hitting a backwards wedge down an incline plane to hit another person, that person with a scissor and  cut a string that is attached to a felt tip pen, felt tip pen would drop and hit another person, that person will then push me and I will lift a chair from the back to make a car roll down an incline plane to hit the cup and roll the dice. The car got stuck in the tube and the felt tip pen didn't touch the person so it was a challenge.

L.I:To apply knowledge of simple machines to create a Rube Goldberg machine. Our challenge was to make a simple Rube Goldberg machine using  all the six simple machines. The simple machines we used for our Rube Goldberg machine is a pulley, wedge, incline plane, wheel & axle and a lever. The challenging part is what are we going to make and what we are going to use for our simple machines. The part that I will make different is the pulley part.I want to change and get a better pulley. The material I will use for the pulley is a yo-yo.

RWC (Maths)

L.I To learn the past and future.
For this task we had to find our the year the rugby world cup as example the 20th rugby world cup is 2059. We also had to write how old we are going to be when we in that year.
In 2059 I will be 50 years old . This helps me by knowing what year the rugby world cup will be. I also learned that there are four years between rugby world cups. This helps me because I added four to each year to get the answer.

RWC ( Literacy Task)

L.I To learn and find our there petition where they play.
We had to find out there position they play in rugby as example Sonny Bill Williams his position is Center we had to write some facts about him so we can hook the reader attention and find out new things and new information  about our characters. This helps us with our our rugby world cup.
Thanks to LS2 making this it really helps us with our Rugby world cup challenge.

L.I Is to pretend that I am a coach for the rugby world cup.
For this task I had to think and pretend that I am the coach for the rugby world cup. I had to try and find a person from the team and give them a position to play in the rugby world cup.  This helps me because if I am a coach when I grow up I can put them in a position.
This also helps me with my learning to be a coach. I had to find the best person that suits that position.
