Area
L.I:To learn how to measure the area of a rectangle.
This week for maths we learned about measuring a rectangle.
We got this piece of paper and it had little squares on it.We had to get a highligter so we can make rectangles.We had to make it around 4x5.We had to make 4x5 squares to make it easy for the delta group.After that we had to do some maths so we know the answer and know the math ideas so you can people can know what the answer is.After that we had to make a google slide about it.Here is a example of it.

Hillfort presentation
L.I:To learn about fortified structures.
This week for inquiry we learned about fortified structures.
There is a hill fort,trench and a rampart.My team choose hill fort.For a hill fort we picked catapult.A catapult was made for breaking walls.Sometimes it usally for war.You can throw dead bodies and fire balls.They made it for because so they can throw the dead bodies or the fire balls at there body.Our presentation was about Catapult.We had to write about where it was used,when was it used and what was it used.We had to make as a team and talk about it in front of the kids so they can learn about it. We played a game about it.We had to talk loudly.We put a catapult in it because you can hit the oppenents from 4 spaces.Thats what we did for inquiry.

This week for kiwi sport we did swimiming.We learned about how to do swimiming with a life jacket.Of you don't what a life jacket is a life jacket helps you to float in deep water.You got to put it on propley so you can float.It also helps you to not drown.The 1st skill we did was pencil dive.We standed up and take a big step drop into the water staright.The 2nd skill was that we had to float on our backs.It was easy for some kids.The 3rd skill was that we had to get in a huddle.We had to put our arms underneath somebodies arm because of you put your hand on their shoulder you are going to make them drown.After evrybody had went into a huddle we had to put our knees up and legs up.The 4th skill that we did was we had to get into a chain.We got into two groups.After we had finish our chain we had to move around the water.We had to hold where they put their arms in.Then we had to float on our backs again to learn how to float on our back with out a life jacket.

Auckland cityscape/Art
L.I:To learn how do some art.
This week for art we learned about how to do a cityscape.
We had to pick a city and the building had to be big so we can shade it into black color.We had to do it on paper after we have done our cityscape on our google drawings.Everybody choose the Auckland city because we live in NZ and we live in Auckland.Of we write like a city it will come with buildings and that.This is what I did on google drawing.It took a perfect calm time to it.I had to focus on it so it can look perfect and so you don't need to do it again.

This week for kiwi can we learned about asking for help.
The first energiser was called long jump game with hula hoops.We went into 2 groups and had a challenge.We had to jump in the hula hoops and of one of one of the 2's came up to you they have to do rock paper sciorss shoot.Everybody were trying to get more points and the goal was upto 6 it was 5 to 3 and it was me and the other team.I went and jumped on every hula hoop and did rock paper sciorss shoot then I won it for my teammates.The next activity we played was Mat dodgeball.We went in numbers.You get the ball and who ever is in the middle that's who you have to get out.After when its the finals it was one of our teammates that had to get up there.Only the winner thats in our team has to go.The other teams had to do it aswell.Chris was the winner of Mat dodge ball.After that we played GKQ.

Kiwi sport
L.I:To learn about water safety and learn new skills.This week for kiwi sport we did swimiming.All the year fours went into panmure pools and had to take our school uniform off.Next we went into the pools and was getting ready for our instructor.
The first skill we did was called torpedo we had to put our hands in the air put your hands together and then after you push and then paddle your way to the mat.The next one we did was that we had to float on our stomach and paddle.After that we had to float on our backs then after that paddle your way to the black mat.Then we had to sim into a hoop.Last one we had to go under the water and swim.

Hill fort presentation
L.I:To learn about earthworks fortification and examples in history. This week inquiry we learned about fortification.We had to get into 4 groups and get a 2 paper,one light green counter and four blue and pink counters.Also some dice.We learned how to play the game and played the game.Today we had to choose 3 options trench,hillfort or rampart.Our group choose hillfort.We had to make 4 or more slides.We had to make a presentation about a hillfort.We also had to make a presentation that is a hillfort and we had to get pictures and links to show imformation and show what a hillfort looks like.
Keyboarding
L.I:To leanrn how to type fast.
I played this game for typing.It is helping us so our fingers can type quick and can make no mistake.This game is like a speed game but for your fingers.We had to not look at the keyboardy because of you do it will take longer then you thought because you don't know what to type.You look at the screen and type.Of you don't know what letters to type just look at your keyboard for a little while and just do your typing.
Table Conga
L.I:To learn our time tables
Everytime I finish doing all my work I get to do some can do's.My favourite one is doing my time tables.This is our can do because it's a amazing time table game that can help us do our muitplication.It goes tow 2 and then it goes up to 9.When I played this game it helped me with my time tables.I got up to the last muiltplication.Then I finished it and I couldn't believe I did it.Of you don't know your timetables come to this game and learn this how to do your time tables.
Swimiming
L.I:To learn how to get rescue or how to rescue somebody.
This week for swimiming we had a lesson with Cameron and James.We had a lesson with them because so they can teach us how to get rescued and how to rescue someone.The first step was that we had to sit down onto the wall.Next you get a partner.Then we grabbed a noodle for our first skill.One person has to go into the water and the person that sitting down has to be on there stomach and put the noodle into the water holding.So after the intructers said go the person in the water has to grab the noodle and the person who is on there stomach has to pull them back to the wall.Also we had to put our arm staright and high and say help three times.The next skill that we had to float but not on our backs or stomach we had to float by doing scally.Four people went into the water trying to float by doing scally.Everybody tried doing but it was to hard for them.The 3rd skill was that we had to do float on our backs.When we have floated on our backs we got to put our arm high up and say help.Puting your hand up and laying in the water because you will maybe drown in the water.The last skill we did was that we had to do a pencil dive into the water and go change into your uniform.

Narrative sotry
L.I:To learn to plan a narrative.
This week for writing we learned about a narrative.Over the past weeks we been planning our character and setting slide so we can make a story about because making a plan is a good idea because of you just write a story without making a plan you will just sit there your hands on the desk and just be in shock and the teacher is going to say "have you finish you story yet "and you are just going to sit there in that table being shock and you will not say anything.We had to make a story to make some editing and change our story up a little bit.We had to go on a google doc and we had to do 3 or more paragrahs to our story.We had to go on a google drawing from the writing slides.We had to go onto our 2 slides the charcter and the setting.After when we got our 2 slides we copy and paste.After when you have finished you blog.When it was this week we had to make a story out of it.We had to make it amazing and exciting we don't want to make it boring because of you do you have to change it up.

Myths around the world
L.I:To learn about myths around the world.
This week for reading I learned about myths around the world.We had four options to choose Mahishasura and Durga from India,Izanagi and Izanami from Japan,Lac Long Quan from Vietnam or Cuchulainn from Ireland.For this week I picked Mahishasura and Durga from india.He and she is from india and they are both myths and maybe a legend.Mahishasura is the evil person from india and Durga is the kind woman.Do you want to know a fact about Mahishasura and Durga.Mahishasura is a evil person he maybe hates men he could only be killed by any woman in india.Durga is the kind one she doesn't have two arms like some people have she is the only human myth that has 18 arms.We had to read the story about it and go on this reading notes and put some facts about it.

Skytower trip
L.I:To learn about the Skytower.Today LS1 went to the skytower.We went there for inquiry and to learn about like to know imformation about the skytower.LS1 group A went to a theatre.The presentation told us about how was it made and imformation about itself.The questions were that how tall is it,how many merters it,year it was built,the cost of it,does it get strike by lightning or thunder,how many volcanos are there in NZ,how many volcanos you can see, How long does it to bungy jump,How long is it to walk down or up the stairs.We had to answer all does questions.Next we into the elavator.We went on floor number 51.When we got to level 51 it was high and some people were scared.We got this piece of paper and it was a activity for us and the activity was that we had to see what was the name for the place.Later on we went to level 45 but we didn't go on a elavator we went on the stairs.We went into a fire exit room it is for when it's a earthquake or when there is a fire in the building.After that we went back up to outside and went to the bus to go to school.

L.I:To learn about bridges around the world.
This week for inquiry we learned about bridges around the world.We used international and national bridges.The bridges have different imforamtion and we had to get the imformation.We had to get the picture of it so we can know what the picture of the bridge is and what kind of bridge is it.We to learn about the bridge and we had to know what kind of imformation is it cause all bridges don't look the same,have different imformation about it self and it is from different planet's.Mostly we have been learning about the panmure bridge.The pnamure bridge has been here for a long time even when we weren't born yet.For the maps we had to get 10 bridges.Thanks for reading.This map is a example what to do.

Swimiming
L.I:To learn about water saftey.
This week for kiwi sport we did swimiming.1st We talked about water saftey.The first skill that we had to do scaly.We had to lie on our backs and move our arms back and foward until we get to the platform.The 2nd skill was that we had to get a little board.The first skill with the board was that we had to lie our backs our head look at the roof our body straight and put the board on our knees and pushing yourself all the way to the platform.The 3rd skill was that we had to swim under the water we had to go straight down to the floor.After that we had to high five James and other people had to high five camron.After you high fived them you swim to the platform and after that you get out.Then we had to change into our uniform and get into the bus to go back to school.

This week for reading we were learning about Maui.He is a mythical creature and a Legend that was made into a story.Maui was trickster that pulled tricks on people.The movie Moana and Maui and the sun it's the same story but different parts of the movie.Maui is legend that got put into a story.The wired part is how can you lassoed a sun when it's really high up into the sky.Is the rope really long I didn't know that you can do that.That is about Maui of you want to learn about Maui you can learn it at school and you will know.

L.I:To learn about the panmure bridges.
This week for inquiry we learned about what kind of bridges.We had to write about the Panmure bridge and the Auckland habour bridge.The 2nd one we had to do was a national bridge and a international bridge.We had write about the year it was built,how long is it or something,how much it cost,what materials it was made and what type of bridge is it.We had to look for imformation about the bridge so we can finish it.We had to make sure it was the correct imformation.That's what we did for inquiry.

Kiwi sport
L.I:To learn water safety.

Setting Planner
L.I:To plan a narritive.
This week for writing we planned a narritive for our character.We had to make a plan before we write a narritive and draw our character because you might not know what to write and draw because it will be really hard for us and we will get incorrect we don't want to get it incorrect.We had to write in every box to know what to do.You have to think about what your character is going to be.We had to go on a google slide and look at each box in each slide.We had to think about what to write so we can get the idea.After you have done it show the teacher.Then of they say yes you can go blog it and put it up in the must do.
Tengu
This week for reading we been learning about Tengu.Tengu is a mythical creature that is a bird mini god demon that is good and bad.He steals from traverlers and even sometimes kill them.He is a mythical creature from Japan.A person made a book about him and the person thought about what kind of name should this mythical creature be then after that the author thought about Tengu.We had to write about Tengu not a story we had to give links to other stories about Tengu.We had to make a DLO I fogot to put that with To not write a story about Tengu.
Meaurement
Today for maths we did measurement but differently.We had to get a piece of paper with rectangles.We used our time tables and our CM.We had to get a ruler to measure it and we had to measure it from the side to the bottom.Until we finished our paper you got to check of it’s right or wrong.After when you got the answer you have to write this CM2 but you have to put the 2 above of the C and M.After that we had to make a DLO how to do it.

This week for kiwi can we played games and talked about Goal setting.Resilence means to bounce back and never give up at anything you do.Goal setting is to achieve your goals that you really want to achieve.The first energiser we played was called snatch.Everyone had to stand up hold onto a long picece of rope and put it carefuly onto the floor and make sure it's a good circle.Then after that we talked about goal setting.Some people were thinking about what to say.The activity we played was called Octopus.The instructions were that there is a tagger and there is a hoop for the tagger to stay in.The tagger has two noodles and has to tag everybody.The other rule is were not aloud to run we had to listen to the kiwi can leaders.The 1st move was that we had to craw on the floor.Everybody were going to the walls so the tagger can't tag us.The 2nd move was we had to walk.Everybody did the same thing go next to the walls.After that it was the final round.One person got through the course and he was the only one it was Alizai he got acrossed the course well down Alizai.After we did GKQ.
This week for kiwi can we played games and talked about Goal setting.Resilence means to bounce back and never give up at anything you do.Goal setting is to achieve your goals that you really want to achieve.The first energiser we played was called snatch.Everyone had to stand up hold onto a long picece of rope and put it carefuly onto the floor and make sure it's a good circle.Then after that we talked about goal setting.Some people were thinking about what to say.The activity we played was called Octopus.The instructions were that there is a tagger and there is a hoop for the tagger to stay in.The tagger has two noodles and has to tag everybody.The other rule is were not aloud to run we had to listen to the kiwi can leaders.The 1st move was that we had to craw on the floor.Everybody were going to the walls so the tagger can't tag us.The 2nd move was we had to walk.Everybody did the same thing go next to the walls.After that it was the final round.One person got through the course and he was the only one it was Alizai he got acrossed the course well down Alizai.After we did GKQ.

Measurements
This week for maths we learned about measuring.Not just measuring the length of a rectangle measuring the hole area of a rectangle.We measured it on paper.There were small ones,meduim one and large ones.We had to measure with the place value blocks.There is a unit square block a tens frame and a 100 frame.We didn't actually need to measure it with the 100 because its to big.We could only use the tens frame and the unit squares.After we measure the hole area of a rectangle you had to write this.12 unit squares.After you did all of them you have to do a DLO showing about how to measure a hole area of a rectangle.
Panmure bridges
L.I:To learn about panmures bridges.
This week for inquiry we learned about structures about panmure bridges.The first bridge was made in 1865.Builders made different bridges.They made the bridges for people to walk across.They make it when it's lower tide.Also they made in a shorter distance because it will take long to build the bridge in a longer distance.We had to get images 5 or 6 images and see when was it made.After that we had to write about the imapct and draw a picture of your own bridge.

Planner/Narritive
L.I:To plan narritive.
This week for writing we planned a narritive.We had to write about it's appearence,personality and experiences we had to write everything about.We had to do the same thing but on slide 2.We had to pla a narrittive before writing a story because it always right to plan a narritive.We had to make sure we did everything right and make sure that we wrote into all the boxes.We had to write about the body, face and hair,his clothes,any secrets about him,how does he behave,what kind fo person,does have any hobbies and where he lives.

This week for reading we did myths,legends and fairy tales.Fairy tales are stories that are fake,myths are magical creatures and now legends.Legends are real people that did something good.We also had to go a google slide and get a partner and think about what reading strategie should go in what.Should it go into the before one the during one or the after one what do you think reading strategie should go in figure out your self.We had to write about what are myths,legends and fairy tales.

Kiwi can
L.I:To have a goal and to achieve something.Also to bounce back at something that is hard for you.
This week for kiwi can we were talking about how to achieve something and we also played some games so we can achieve it.The first energiser we played was called tag snatch.We had to get a ripper and sprit out so we can have a better start.Everybody were trying to achieve something when we playing that game.Everybody was having fun.The next activity we played was called ball trouble.We had to get into a pair of 2 people it could only be girl and boys.We had two teams one on the left and one on the right.We did back to back.We had to get across and touch the wall.Everybody was having fun.After we played GKQ they asked us questiong and we had to answer it.Our topic was goal setting and our theme was resilence.
