Informal & Formal Language and Sitaution

What is formality? Formality tells others when to use formal and informal language.

Formal means times when rules and politeness need to be followed. An example for a formal language: "Greetings Siale pleasure to meet you, do you want to come to a cafe." 

Informal means time when rules and politeness don't have to be followed. An example for a informal language: "Chur toko how you've been, wanna play touch on the field with the boys."
