Things I Treasure

This is activity is about treasuring. We had to write down three things
we want to treasure. One is rugby stuff because rugby is my life sport
and that is my dream. My dream is to play rugby when I grow up and I want
to start at the age of 19 years, this is when Jonah Lomu started. Also you had to
write down why you would treasure that item.

  2. Kia ora Spelman! Olive here again! How are you doing?

Thank you for your blog post! I really enjoyed reading about the things you treasure! I really appreciate you sharing the things that are super special to you. I understand your love of rugby. When I was growing up I played touch rugby with my peers at primary. It was a really supportive sport that brought the community together. Every night on a Friday everyone would play with opposing teams. It used to be my favourite night of the week because afterwards we sometimes got hot chips! My team was called the Flying Fish and we were an all-girls team. We pretty good until a team called the Purple People came along and beat us! I've stopped playing touch because I'm too busy and have also found other sports to play, such as volley ball and soccer, but I've always and will have a big love of my childhood activity.

Remember the end of the Summer Learning Journey is next Friday 24th January! Keep up the blogging, commenting and enthusiasm!

    Ngā mihi,
    Olive

  3. Hello Spelman! I personally really like spending time with family as well, and one of my favorite activities is going out with them. You have a very interesting list too...What kind of sports or games, do you like to play? Nice job!
