Absolute, Comparative & Superlative

Adjectives are words to describe nouns. There are three types of adjectives: absolute,
comparative, and superlative.

Absolute adjectives is describing something by itself. An example is funny,
fast, boisterous, vociferous and more.

Comparative adjectives describes something compared to another. An example is madder,
shinier, more homongus, more extraodinary and more.


Superlative adjective say that something is the highest level in a quality. An example is
fastest, dumbest, most agile, most raucous.


Adjectives can help describe things.
