Also a adjective and maybe another adverb.

Adverbs help answer the question how, when, where, and to what extent. Adverbs can help describe how, how tells about how an action happens. The word is quickly, Oscar ran  quickly.

Adverb words can end with L & Y like quickly. Quick is a adjective that describe nouns but when describing a verb you add L  & Y to create a adverb.

Adverbs also helps describe when, when tells about when or how often something happens. These types of words are used to describe a verb or an adjective. The word is yesterday, yesterday I went to the park.

Adverbs also describe where, where tells about where something happens. The word is up, look up there.
