Similes

Similes are a kind of figurative language. Similes are a comparison of two things using "like" or "as...as".

"Like" similies are used for actions. Some examples using "like" are:

Usain Bolt runs like lighting.
Ken jumps high like a frog.
Elaario exploded like a volcano.

"As...as" similies are used for adjectives. Some examples using "as...as" are:

Josh is as small as a mouse.
Finn is as wise as  an owl.
David is as light as a feather.

Similes help compare two things with figurative language.
