Ihumatao

L.I:To identify the main ideas in text.
For reading we learned about Ihumatao.We had to go in mix
groups to do it first.Firstly we started doing the 5 w's of what
is Ihumatao.

The strategy we used while doing 5 w's is prior knowledge.
We have to write imformation down that we know about
Ihumatao.Next we had to find out where is Ihumatoa and how
long does it take you to go there by,walking,car,bus and cycle.
Then we had go on the other slide and find out what the words mean't.
We have to write what we think.

After that we have to write down the relationship with the land.Lastly
we had to do this slide called Matauranga Maori.There were words
on there and we had to find the meaning.
